Whiteness RM is a stain remover by microabrasion, which has in its composition hydrochloric acid at 6% and silicon carbide, that is extremely hard and sharp, which gives it a greater effectiveness when compared to other abrasives such as pumice stone, which is softer and not sharp. Thus, Whiteness RM can be considered a medium-power product with high effectiveness, because it combines medium acid content with high effectiveness of silicon carbide.

INDICATIONS:

Controlled chemical and mechanical removal of enamel stained by fluorosis, surface hypoplasia of the enamel, structural defects that cause pigmentation, or white stains from inactive caries.

• Always keep the product in its original packaging, properly closed.
  • Store the product at temperatures of 5 to 25° C.
  • Do not freeze the product.
  • The validity period is 2 years from the date of manufacture.
• • It is of fundamental importance that the procedure of enamel microabrasion be performed with absolute isolation, wearing protective eyewear for the professional, the patient and the assistant, protective mask for the professional and assistant, and use of operating gloves.
  • The product has strongly acidic characteristics due to the presence of hydrochloric acid in the formula. Avoid contact of the product with the skin, eyes, and soft tissues of the oral cavity. In case of accidental contact, wash immediately with water. If necessary, seek medical attention.
  • The product is not indicated for removal of deep stains.
  • Open the packaging and test the viscosity of the product in a place away from the patient to prevent possible accidents.
  • Handle the product only with operating gloves, protective mask, and safety glasses. Prevent inhalation of any vapors given off by the product.
  • Never leave the product on the tooth surface without exerting control over its action, at the risk of causing excessive demineralization of the site.
  • Not injectable.
  • Do not reuse the syringe.

Directions To Use :

DIRECTIONS TO USE:

STEP 1:

Proceed with isolation of the teeth with a rubber dam.

STEP 2:

Apply a small amount of product on the surface to be abraded. Using the spatula that comes with the kit, do manual friction with the product on the stained enamel for 10 seconds.

STEP 3:

Wash with plenty of water after each application. To verify the need for more applications of the product, the enamel surface should always be moist.

STEP 4:

The microabrasion operation can be repeated up to 15 times in the same session, depending on the wear and the stain removal obtained.

NOTE:

If there is any doubt regarding the depth of the stain, note whether its shape and size change after the first applications. If it does not change, it is probably that it is a deeper stain and that the microabrasion technique is not suitable for its removal.

STEP 5:

After washing and drying of the treated teeth, apply neutral sodium fluoride (Flúor Care – FGM) for 1 minute.

STEP 6:

Then polish the enamel with a felt disk (Diamond Flex – FGM) and polishing paste (Diamond Excel – FGM).
