A celebrated academician, he has received the Searle Oration Award, 1998, from API, and GS Sainani Oration Award (Gold Medal) from Indian Academy of Clinical Medicine. He has also written: Text Book of Clinical Electrocardiography, and Practical Medicine for Medical Students.

Dr. Anshul Chugh is the son of Dr. S. N. Chugh. He is also an experienced academician in the fields of medicine and dentistry.

Earlier he was Reader Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial OrthopediCS DAV Dental College Yamuna Nagar and had worked as Registrar PGIMS Rohtak for a brief period. He obtained his BDS from GDC PGIMS Rohtak and MDS (Orthodontics) from KGMC Lucknow after securing first rank in AIPG Entrance Examination held in Jan 1996.
